Uganda is one of the few places in the world where coffee still grows wild, particularly in the forests of the central and western regions. For most of the 20th century, tightly controlled imperial rule followed by periods of political instability limited the country’s productive capacity. More recently, efforts led by organisations such as the Uganda Coffee Development Authority have helped reshape the industry’s trajectory, contributing to Uganda’s growing reputation for high-quality lots such as this mix of SL14, SL28, and other regional landrace varieties.
