A classic El Salvador profile with lots of depth, elevated by wonderfully sweet winey acidity.
We typically look to Brazil or Colombia when looking for a high-quality decaffeinated coffee, since these regions have tended to produce the best results. However, this mixed varietal lot from El Salvador was clearly a step above the rest in our blind cupping. Agua Caliente is a forward-thinking farm, keen to leverage environmentally friendly practices to support wildlife on the farm as well as improve the quality of their coffees.
