    Current - Abadatezuka Bourbon Anaerobic

This anaerobically processed Bourbon, cultivated at 1,850–2,200 MASL, offers a creamy texture with vibrant red fruit notes and a sweet, coherent finish.

From the Abadatezuka Cooperative in Rwanda's Western Province, this coffee showcases innovative processing and high-altitude cultivation. The cooperative, based in the Cyato sector of the Nyamasheke district, delivers cherries to the Cyato Washing Station, established in 2017. The coffee benefits from elevations up to 2,200 MASL, fertile soils, and a unique climate influenced by the Nyungwe Forest and Lake Kivu. The anaerobic fermentation enhances the intensity of the coffee's fruit and acidity, contributing to its distinctive profile. This microlot, selected for its exceptional quality, reflects the cooperative's commitment to natural farming practices, utilising bee-assisted pollination and avoiding synthetic inputs.
