Packing & Warehouse Operative

Part-Time

3 days per week (preferably consecutive)

Immediate start

Working for a globally renown coffee roastery production facility in Yate, Bristol

Primary duties

• Packing, labelling and dispatching coffee
• Packing will be split between hand packing and semi-automated machine packing
• General warehouse organisation, tidying and support
• Loading goods onto vehicles, picking stock from warehouse bays, and accepting goods in
• Following operational processes, H&S and complying with food hygiene standards

Additional responsibilities

• Cross-team cover for retail packing and dispatch or other roles as necessary
• Support with roastery maintenance

Skills & Experience

• Mechanically minded, practical and comfortable working with machines an advantage
• Some warehouse and/or food handling experience is ideal but not essential and any necessary training will be provided
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and work ethic

Working Hours

• 7.5 hours per day
• Roastery opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 16:30
• Additional days may be available (at same rate) to provide internal cover, during busy periods and as we grow
