Kirasa
This season’s Kirasa offering is a real stand-out from the origin, with a more fruit-forward, refreshing profile than expected.
Another coffee with its roots in the Akawa initiative, a project focused on establishing stable supply chains within the country and creating quicker payment systems for producers, the Kirasa washing station processes smallholder cherries grown in the rich volcanic soils of the Gitaza region of Burundi.
After utilising 230 traditional drying beds the processed Bourbon coffee is then transported to Nairobi for storage, making use of the cooler climate to preserve optimal cup quality.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Once open we recommend using within 7 days.
